Thank you to everyone for making this year's Gala an overwhelming success!

Guests of the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundations’ annual Gala enjoyed a champagne reception followed by a 4 course gourmet dinner and entertainment by Jet Set. The evening was full of fundraising activities including a jewellery raffle, live and silent auctions and "From The Heart". The From the Heart fundraising presentation featuring equipment needs for the maternity department at Ridge Meadows Hospital raised $39,000 of the total $191,000 raised at this year's event. All funds raised go towards the Foundation’s commitment to purchase essential health care equipment for Ridge Meadows Hospital and other health care services in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

On behalf of Fraser River Pile and Dredge Ewan Moir, CEO and President, Les Jourdain, director, spoke of the commitment FRPD has to providing their clients with the best. “This is best captured in our core value statement ‘a strong work ethic centered on integrity, trust and respect’. When we visit Ridge Meadows Hospital (the local hospital for many of our employees and families) we see exactly the same set of core values and a service delivered by a team of specialists that is second to none. We are very pleased to align our company with the team at Ridge Meadows Hospital and we encourage all in attendance this evening to strongly support Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation. The hospital cares for all individuals in our communities and is worthy of your investment.”

Gala Co-Chair Leslie Wilson spoke eloquently about her reasons for being involved with the Gala. “I was born at Ridge Meadows Hospital, I live and work here and am raising my own family here. This is my hospital and my community. It is important to me that our hospital and staff have the equipment to continue to provide gold standard of care to our community.”
