Plans are well underway for the Annual South Asian Gala and this year promises to be another fabulous evening.
Mr. Anand Kumar of Super30 fame is a unique person from the state of Bihar in India. Overcoming the barriers of poverty and lack of opportunities he became a math teacher and subsequently established a Mathematics school in Bihar in India. Deriving inspiration from his own past he began to teach math to economically deprived students from Bihar. The rest is history. At 38 years of age he became possibly the most famous teacher in India and has been honored by the Indian Prime Minister.
